Transition Town MInami-Aso is a Transition initiative that locates in Kyushu Kumamoto where Active volcano Mt. Aso and Mt. Neko lies. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, Shirakawa runs center of the area providing pure spring water and great rice fields. This community is shifting to local food ,grow our own food, making our own energy, low consumptions of energy , local currency, and self build natural homes. We are enjoying connecting with local people and nature that makes it easier to live a sustainable way of life.
